Final Major Project

Out of all of my final pieces this probably took the longest to complete. I based this on one of my graphic tree illustration and complete the metre and a half length entirely from free hand machine embroidery. In between each of the intricate strand is a delicate gemstone; crystals, labradorite and pearls!
RUFFLES!!!
'Goddess' in relation to my other designs is much smaller and therefore works with all plain outfits to give them a lovely colour addition.
Originally this design was supposed to be much chunkier but the delicate appearance is much more aesthetically pleasing!
This is definitely a favourite of mine the cut work was quite intense but totally worth it!
This design is one of my most successful images and I believe this is down to the fact that it was a quick unplanned sketch and therefore the lines and shapes were very fluid and unplanned. The natural wool which is the bask for the print is heavily embellished with a combination of quilting, hand beading, hand and machine embroidery.

This also looks really cool as an epaulette!
This neck-piece is made from silk organza which I have freehand machine embroidered in order to create a unique interlocked leaf design. This one is very different to my other neck piece's as this one is very tonal and quite subtle in comparison.
Three pieces from my Final Major Project, all are from my new development which is 'wearable art' a highly decorative form of neck-piece.
